SanDisk is known for its flash memory products like USB flash drives, memory card, and solid state drives. In 1988, Milpitas has officially started this company in California, United States, along with its first logo design. Eventually, the company would become one of the largest manufacturers of flash memory around the world.
Currently, the logo design of SanDisk is only text-based with a very simple font. The first logo design of SanDisk, however, contained a flash symbol under the square. The “SanDisk logo design” was first launched in dark red color, similar to their latest logo design. For printing purposes, they launched a logo in shades of black and white.
SanDisk acquired M-Systems in 2006. After this acquisition, in 2007, the logo design of SanDisk was changed, removing the symbol of SanDisk and adjusting the font as well. The new logo also had a version for printing pruposes, in shades of black and white.

The logos of technology companies are usually text-based, which was probably why the company removed the symbol in 2007 when flash memory business picked up all around the world due to new technology.
Currently, the company is using the same logo from 2007. You can download the PNG version of the SanDisk logo below.
