One of the biggest multinational company of India is Tata group who are known for their vehicle manufacturing business. Today, the group of companies is operating in more than 80 countries.
Tata Motors has only had one logo outstanding logo which was rebranded in year 2000, which is undoubtedly a testament to its consistency and amazing performance over the years so that it did not even have to consider a change in emblem to promote the product. The one and only brand logo has been so popular that it’s now recognized worldwide and ranks as the top most successful logos, even in the top 5 in my book.
What’s more is that the “Tata Motors logo” is anything but a large ‘Tata Motors’ written on the logo. Instead it is a design with a lot of soul and meaning, therefore for a mere image to become so popular is very astounding.
Though this is the full company logo, most cars and Tata products just bear the image on the left. On first sight, it looked like a fancy ‘T’ to me which represented the company name. On further research however, I was surprised to find out about the things that the logo represent.
The colors of the logo not only fit well together but the red speaks of passion (for driving perhaps) and provides visual appeal. The white is a complementary color and could possibly be there to represent purity and reliability. On the cars however, the logo is designed with a metal finish which mainly serves to blend in the with the car color and give it a sleek and modern finish!
Most vehicle companies including Toyota have the similar concept of logo design for their company.
